Reconstruct the draining conversation as faithfully as you can — it can be a line-by-line memory, or a narrative like 'They said X, I said Y, and then...' Choose one specific situation; don't merge multiple conversations.
Min 80 chars
Go through the dialogue and flag each problem: which lines were people-pleasing (avoiding expression)? Which were blame (overstepping judgment)? Which were task confusion (treating the other person's task as yours to solve)? Also check which of your own lines contributed to the entanglement.

Choose the tools from the five options that you'll focus on in the rewrite (at least 2).
Rewrite the dialogue line by line or section by section to correspond with the original. For parts you choose not to change, you can add a note explaining why. The rewrite should be 'something you could actually say' — not a perfect script.
Min 100 chars
In the rewrite, mark which tool you used and which line it appears in. You can annotate directly in the rewrite with parentheses, or list them separately.
Min 40 chars
When you imagine actually saying the rewritten version, what happens inside you? Are there lines that feel 'unlike you'? Are there lines where you think 'if only I could say it this way'?
Min 40 chars
Write a sentence or two: when a similar conversation comes up next time, how do you plan to activate this rewrite? Is there a specific moment you want to try?
